Performance

This is probably the most important aspect of the whole review. After all, anyone can sell cheap polarized glasses that don’t work.

The hard part is finding quality sunglasses for an affordable price. Now when it comes to performance of polarized sunglasses, the only thing that really matters is how much glare the glasses remove from the water.

They have 1.0 mm thick lenses which is comparable to the premium glasses out there. And I would say the KastKing sunglasses are about middle of the pack in terms of glare removal.

The more premium sunglasses will work a bit better and give you more visibility underwater. But the the KastKing glasses are certainly much better than other “budget” options that I have used.

Me personally, I do recommend these to friends because I think the quality is certainly worth the very affordable price tag.

But it is important to understand that their are higher performing options if you are willing to spend extra money.

Durability

I haven’t had any issues when it comes to durability and I have used a few different pairs for a while now.

The KastKing glasses are made from a material called Grilamid, so the frames are lightweight, extremely flexible, and heat and UV resistant.

Grilamid frames are well known for their strength, lightweight comfort, shape integrity, and impact resistance.

This ultra-lightweight and malleable material translates to a very comfortable fit. So I haven’t had any durability issues, and from the reviews I have read, nobody else really has either.

Lens Color Options

Each polarized lens color serves a specific purpose and will work best in a specific scenario. And KastKing does have all the different lens color options available for all of their different models.

Now pretty much every other company will also offer every color options, but I have seen a few that only offer one or two, so I thought it was worth noting.

The actual effect of these colors works just the same and as well as all the other glasses on the market.

Style

Now style and aesthetics are definitely subjective, but KastKing does offer a variety of different shapes and styles of their polarized sunglasses, so there is definitely at least one that you will like.

Each model also comes in a variety of different color options for the actual frames.

Me personally, I always just go with a black or grey, but if you like to mix it up they have some more fun and exciting color options as well.

So I like the overall style and aesthetics of the KastKing glasses.

Pricing

I am sure you already know this, but KastKing prices are much lower than the vast majority of polarized glasses out there.

And like I explained earlier, that pricing does not mean much lower quality. It is just a result of how they sell and distribute their products.

I think all their basic models range from $25-50, which is pretty much as budget friendly as you are going to find.
