Where to Start on a New Lake
When you are first trying to figure out a new body of water, it’s best to start shallow. Even if you have electronics to help out, it is still much easier to break down the banks of a lake than to venture out into deeper water.
The shallow banks will almost always have plenty of wood, rocks, grass, docks, and other structure that will immediately give you high percentage areas to target bass, even if you haven’t fished the lake before.
