The unique head and bill design that comes on all their lures certainly looks good for advertising and catches lots of anglers, but are Headbanger lures any good?

Yes, Headbanger is a great lure company and I have had tons of success using their products.
I have fished with all but one of the Headbanger lures and rig setups and have caught fish on all of them.
The patented Headbanger design is very unique and gives a different, more life-like presentation to the fish.
When most anglers are fishing their lures, they will jerk the rod, pause, speed up, or do other things to make the lure jump, stop, or do something different in the water.
The Headbanger lures do this for you. They will randomly dart out to the side, up, or down a little bit.
This triggers TONS of reaction strikes from fish. Ever since I discovered the Headbanger lures, I always keep them in my rotation.
Headbanger lures certainly look good in videos and advertisements, but trust me, they really do work and have caught me tons of big fish.
There are a bunch of different lures that Headbanger lures offers. The Headbanger color and pattern designs are all very nice.
They have the perfect balance of realistic patterns and bright or contrast patterns.
Each of them is certainly unique, but they all have the signature headbanger design and action in some way, shape, or form.
The Headbanger Cranky Shad is one of the most popular lures in the Headbanger lineup.
It has the signagure erratic and evasive action because of the clear, free-swinging, wobble bill.
The Cranky Shad has a low frequency vibration and internal rattles that call fish in from long distances.
The Cranky Shad has a very realistic body design that perfectly mimics baitfish. This lure comes in 2.5″, 3″, 4″, and 5″ sizes.
The Headbanger Spitfire is actually my favorite lure from Headbanger. The
Spitfire is a top water lure that has the properties of a swim bait and a jitterbug.
The head or bill of the lure wobbles back and forth on the surface splashing and causing lots of vibration, while the realistic body swims along exactly like a baitfish.
Not only is the Spitfire my favorite Headbanger lure, it is also my all time favorite top water lure on the market.
I love fishing top water lures and I fell in love with the Headbanger Spitfire as soon as I tied it on. The Spitfire comes in 4.5″ and 6.5″ sizes.
The Headbanger Rockerhead is definitely the most versatile product that they offer.
It is a jig head attached to a single EWG hook. The jig head has a rocker design that gives it the headbanger action.
You can rig it up with any soft plastic bait you like which gives you tons of versatility when fishing it.
Headbanger does have some really nice soft plastics that you can pair up with the Rockerhead, but any soft plastics that you already use and like work just the same.
The Rockerhead comes in 1/5 oz, 2/7 oz, and 3/8 oz sizes. These sizes are a bit strange, but I believe it comes from the unique head design.
I with they had heavier options, but since Headbanger is still a relatively new company, those could come in the future.
Paired up with a fluke bait, finesse worm, or paddle tail swimbait, this setup catches lots of fish.
The Headbanger Shad has one of the most unique and cool lure designs out there. This lure is a great swimbait and crankbait hybrid.
The free-swinging wobble head on this lure is not just a bill in front of the lure, but part of the body design.
The Shad is part hard-body and part soft-body. The front half of the lures is a hard-plastic material while the back is a soft, paddle-tail.
The combination of the Headbanger action, with the paddle-tail action, with the durable hard-body make this lure unlike anything else.
The action is absolutely amazing and catches me tons of fish. This lure also has floating, suspending, and sinking variations that accomidate whatever water depth you are fishing in.
The Headbanger Shad comes in 4.5″ and 6″ sizes which I love for bass fishing. It also comes in a 9″ size that is one of the best pike lures I have ever used.

Headbanger lures will catch anything that swims. I use all of the Headbanger lures for bass and have tons of success.
While the bigger lures like the 9″ Shad and the giant soft plastics are really just for pike and musky.
If you look at the Headbanger community, you will find people catching all types of fish on these lures.
I have personally caught bass (largemouth and smallmouth), walleye, pike, musky, pickerel, and trout on Headbanger lures.
However, they can catch more than that and I haven’t even tested them out in salt-water yet.
Yes, I highly recommend Headbanger lure products. Now, don’t think that just because you buy a couple of these, your fishing is going to drastically change.
Like all great lures, you still need to know how, when, and where to fish them.
These lures are great, but they aren’t the best thing to ever happen to fishing.
They work great, but don’t feel like to you need to get the to catch fish. I will certainly continue using them and I recommend you do the same.
Are Headbanger lures any good? Yes, they work great and I love using them.
The unique qualities of these lures make them very fun to fish and very effective.
If the fish in your pond or lake don’t seem to be biting, consider throwing a Headbanger lure to show them something different.
